NZGA Submission: CCC 2023 Draft Advice

The Climate Change Commission / He Pou a Rangi (CCC) has released its draft advice to inform the strategic direction of the Government’s second emissions reduction plan, covering New Zealand’s 2026–2030 emissions budget.

The NZGA put forward this submission, emphasising the contributions that geothermal energy generation can make towards Aotearoa's efforts in reducing emissions, both within electricity generation and process heat.
